New Years Eve at Sydney

One from my Bucket List, and a long time in achieving it. But it was worth the wait!

I booked on the Galene last February, to make sure that I got a place for New Years Eve.

I boarded the boat on a delightfully sunny evening at Pyrmont Wharf.

There were only 91 people on the boat - far better than the 900 or so on some of the larger boats. I didn't fancy crowds that's why I had opted to spend the evening on the water. There were still 100,000 people on boats, although it was reported that 1.5 million people were on the foreshore.

What an amazing night it was, worth every penny, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Thanks to the owner of the Galene, Daniel da Silva and his mum Karen, I had the best New Years Eve that I can remember.
